Sweet Home (์Šค์œ„ํŠธํ™ˆ), written by Kim Carnby and drawn by Hwang Young-chan, is a creature-horror webtoon that ran on Naver Webtoon from October 12, 2017 to July 2, 2020. Creature horror is the branch of horror built around monsters. The lead, Cha Hyun-su, is a high schooler who shut himself in his room after being bullied; when an accident kills his whole family, he moves into a run-down apartment block called Green Home. Right after that, people all over the world start turning into monsters shaped by their own desires, and the residents trapped inside the building hold out between the monsters outside and the distrust within. It is the second collaboration between the two creators, after Bastard, which ran from 2014 to 2016. Including the prologue it runs 141 episodes, and Wisdom House published it in 12 print volumes, finishing with volumes 10 to 12 on May 27, 2021.

What took the webtoon worldwide was the 10-episode first season Netflix released on December 18, 2020. Lee Eung-bok of Guardian: The Lonely and Great God directed, with Song Kang (Cha Hyun-su), Lee Jin-wook (Pyeon Sang-wook), Lee Si-young (Seo Yi-kyung), Lee Do-hyun (Lee Eun-hyuk), Park Gyu-young (Yoon Ji-su), and Go Min-si (Lee Eun-yu) in the lead roles. According to Netflix it was the first Korean series to enter the US Top 10, and within three days of release it ranked first in 8 regions and in the Top 10 in 42. Over its first four weeks, 22 million paying households watched.

On June 15, 2022 Netflix confirmed that seasons two and three would be produced together. Season two arrived on December 1, 2023 and season three on July 19, 2024, eight episodes each, with season three as the final chapter, 26 episodes in all. Where the webtoon wraps up its story inside Green Home, the drama widened its stage to the world outside from season two and added new characters. That is why readers of the original and viewers of the drama remember different endings under the same title.

As of August 2026 there has been no announcement of a new season, a film, or a screen adaptation of any spin-off. The world of the original did continue on the page, though. Shotgun Boy, a prequel written by Kim Carnby and drawn by Hongpil, began on Naver Webtoon in February 2021 and covers the world before the monsters appeared. The English edition has run on WEBTOON since January 2018, and in Taiwan the publisher Gobooks completed a 12-volume print edition in January 2022.

The original is available from episode one on Naver Webtoon, in English on WEBTOON, and in Japanese on comico. Season one of the drama stays closest to the webtoon, so if you stopped there, the original is the place to read the rest. If you watched through season three, comparing the two endings is half the fun. (As of August 21, 2026)
