1. The service
Bessatsu publishes a weekly original visual series. The first six pages of every issue, pictures and story, are open to everyone; the remaining pages and the videos added to an issue are for paid subscribers.
2. Accounts
Google sign-in is required for subscriptions, comments, and likes. See the privacy policy for data handling.
3. Subscription and billing
A single $5/month plan, renewed monthly. Payment is processed by Polar. You can cancel anytime from the subscription management page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
4. Viewing access (subscriber benefit)
Each newly published issue contains fifteen illustrated pages (earlier issues have ten). In every issue the first six pages and their story are open to everyone without a subscription. Subscribers can view the remaining pages with their story (the first line of each page is shown as a preview), the subscriber videos in every issue including the back catalog, and new issues before their publication date.
Access is for personal viewing. Downloading, saving, or redistributing images or videos, using them outside the service, or building a competing content product from them is not allowed. Every image carries a watermark.
5. Prohibited conduct
Bypassing access control, bulk scraping, and interfering with the service are prohibited.
6. Rights
Series images are produced by the service with AI image generation tools. Images made this way may not qualify for copyright protection where the human creative contribution is not sufficient, so the service does not claim copyright in individual images.
What a subscriber receives is viewing access under these terms (section 4). The service does not guarantee exclusivity: the same or similar images may exist outside the service.
Rights in what the service itself authored stay with the service: characters and world settings, written text, editing and sequencing, branding, and page design.
The service does not sell fan works that reproduce characters from existing titles.
7. Changes
The service may change with notice. If the service shuts down, we will give at least 30 days notice and handle remaining periods under the refund policy.
