Kang Fullโs Moving (๋ฌด๋น) is a superhero webtoon that ran on Daum Webtoon, then called Daum Manhwa Soksesang and now Kakao Webtoon, in 2015. The leads are Kim Bong-seok, a high schooler who hides the fact that his body floats, his classmate Jang Hui-su, and Lee Gang-hun. It opens as a story about the kids, then shifts midway to the previous generation: parents who hid the same kinds of powers while working for a state agency. The series recorded 200 million cumulative views in Korea and runs 46 episodes in the English edition. In print it is five volumes from Wisdom House, completed in April 2016, and the publisher describes it as Kang Fullโs twelfth full-length work.
What carried the webtoon around the world was the 20-episode Disney+ drama released from August 9 to September 20, 2023. Kang Full wrote the script himself, with Park In-je and Park Yoon-seo directing. Ryu Seung-ryong (Jang Ju-won), Han Hyo-joo (Lee Mi-hyun), Zo In-sung (Kim Du-sik), and Cha Tae-hyun (Jeon Gye-do) play the parents; Lee Jung-ha (Kim Bong-seok), Go Youn-jung (Jang Hui-su), and Kim Do-hoon (Lee Gang-hun) play the kids. Within seven days it became the most watched Korean original by hours streamed on Disney+ and on Hulu in the United States, and in 2024 it won the Grand Prize for television at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards. The original got a second life too: according to a September 2023 report, the webtoonโs August revenue across Kakao Page was 35 times its June figure, before news of the adaptation spread. The drama also aired on the broadcaster MBC from December 22, 2024 to February 9, 2025.
The reason to pick it up now is season two. On November 21, 2024, at a content showcase in Singapore, Disney officially announced that it had begun developing a second season with Kang Full. According to reports on May 18, 2026, Disney+ confirmed the season and started filming. Ryu Seung-ryong, Han Hyo-joo, Zo In-sung, Cha Tae-hyun, Ryoo Seung-bum, Go Youn-jung, Kim Do-hoon, and Kim Sung-kyun return, and Sol Kyung-gu, Lee Hee-joon, Ryu Hye-young, Roh Yoon-seo, Kim Sung-kyu, Kim Gun-woo, and Choi Yun-ji join the cast. Kim Bong-seok is now played by Won Gyu-bin, since Lee Jung-ha enlisted in the Marine Corps in January 2026. Kang Full writes again, and Kim Seong-hun of the Kingdom series directs. Reports put the target release in 2027, but as of August 2026 no date has been confirmed.
The original is available from the first episode on KakaoPage, in English on Tapas, and in Japanese on Piccoma. If you watched the drama first, the webtoon is short enough for a single weekend. Reading it now is the best way to spot where season two moves past the source material. (As of August 21, 2026)
