Shoichi Usui was born in Osaka and got his start as an assistant to Eiichiro Oda on One Piece. VIZ Media's author note adds that outside manga he plays games like Super Smash Bros. He published a one-shot called ใจใฏใฝใทในใใฎใญใจใทๅ in issue 16 of Weekly Shonen Jump in 2022, and the serial, with the title respelled, began in issue 30 of 2024.
Kiyoshi Harai is sixteen and on his first assignment as the strongest and youngest exorcist in history. He became the strongest to protect what matters to him; the trouble is that he is a coward and painfully shy. VIZ's description puts it plainly: he is equally afraid of fighting demons, making friends and talking to girls. The Japanese official site files the series as a dramatic exorcist battle comedy.
VIZ Media published volume 3 in English on 1 September. Kiyoshi is back at school, and an occult-obsessed classmate shows off a demon-summoning circle she built from instructions found online. It looks ridiculous, but Kiyoshi realises the principles behind it are real and dangerous. In the same volume Sakaki runs into a mysterious man known as the exorcist who betrayed his own.
In Korea, Haksan Publishing has reached volume 5 under the title ์์์์คํธ ํค์์. In Japan, the series marked its second anniversary this summer by opening chapters 1 to 22 free for a limited period on Shonen Jump+ and Zebrack.
Japanese volume 9 came out on 4 August. Kiyoshi, drained of power, is nursed back by a family that took him in, while three powerful brothers march on Roto's territory and a battle for the fate of the demon world begins. Volume 10 follows on 2 October.
