Nico White is ten. Life in a perfectly built town is so dull that he rides Creepers for the thrill of the explosion, and what he really wants is to leave the blocky confines of home and take his crafting skills to the ends of the world. How big the world is, and what stands in the way, is the whole story.
Volume 1 came out in Japan on 28 September 2020, and Shogakukan introduced it as the first official Minecraft manga published in the country. The artist is Kazuyoshi Seto and the serial runs in the monthly CoroCoro Comic. The publisher's line is that the outlandish builds and full-force action in every chapter can only be seen in CoroCoro.
Japan reached volume 13 on 27 March 2026. Its blurb says that even after the party defeats the powerful Abyss, the end of the world is nowhere in sight, and a man with big ambitions named Meteo is quietly closing in.
The English title is Minecraft: The Manga. VIZ Media's volume 7, out on 8 September, is 184 pages, and the enemy Nico's group faces in it is the warden, the blind guardian of the deep dark that was added to the game in June 2022 and hunts by sound and vibration. VIZ also cut a trailer specifically for the manga.
The Korean edition comes from Daewon C.I. under its Daewon Kids imprint as ๋ง์ธํฌ๋ํํธ ์ธ๊ณ์ ๋์ผ๋ก ๋ ๋๋ ์ฌํ, with volume 1 released in October 2025.
