Yoko Kamio’s Boys Over Flowers ran in Margaret from October 1992 to April 2008 and finished at 244 chapters across 37 volumes. Sixteen years of serialisation, followed by television adaptations across several Asian countries, turned its basic arrangement into something close to a standard.
