MangaIn a future without sunlight, Toshiro Kamiya, unable to pay for his mother's medicine, considers a procedure that turns his body into a plant. Kasumi Yasuda's thriller runs in Big Comic Superior; the anime, the first joint work of Sunrise and Shaft, lands on Netflix in full on 26 November.
MangaFederation and Zeon fight over the Thunderbolt Sector, a field of colony wreckage, in Universal Century 0079. Yasuo Ohtagaki ran the manga in Big Comic Superior from 2012 to September 2025 and closed it at 27 volumes, so VIZ Media's volume 26, out on 15 September, is the second-to-last in English.
MangaShuzo is at university, has a serious girlfriend and has just won his first manga award when his younger brother is diagnosed with a brain tumour. Shuzo Oshimi of The Flowers of Evil drew it from his own life and ended it at four volumes in March 2026; VIZ Media's volume 1 came out on 15 September.
