Why we recommend it

A girl who plays guitar but freezes up around people joins a band and gradually steps out into the world. Both the exaggerated comedy and the musical performances are crafted with care.

Low on gore

It may not be for you if

BOCCHI THE ROCK! and the girl who practiced guitar alone for six hours a day

Hitori Gotou practiced guitar six hours a day with nobody around to hear it, convinced a band was the one place a person as shy as she is might count. CloverWorks animated her story as a twelve episode series from the autumn of 2022, part comedy, part music, part daily life.
