Mitsuha Miyamizu is a high school girl in the countryside, and the life she wants is not hers but a boyโs, lived in Tokyo. Tokyo already has Taki Tachibana in it. He is a high school student too, and between classes, a job that pays by the hour and the architecture he keeps circling back to, his days fill up fast. One day Mitsuha wakes up in a room that is not hers. Drama and romance grow from there.
It runs as a single feature, so the whole thing arrives in one sitting. Yukari Yukino and Miki Okudera turn up around the edges of those two lives. Stephanie Sheh and Michael Sinterniklaas directed the English dub.
