Aya Mitsuki has come to a prestigious girls’ school with her sights set on a single person there. She wants to become the sort of person Mio Yorue already is, composed and apparently without a single crack in the surface. Then she walks in on Mio at a fighting game, and the model she had been copying stops holding together.
Mio does not tidy the moment away. She asks for a match instead. What the series works with is the distance between the person a school has decided someone is and the hours that person actually spends. The show is billed as a drama rather than a comedy, which is a fair hint that the mismatch is not just a punchline.
Studio diomedéa animates, with Wataru Watari on series composition, Mayuko Matsumoto on character design and Maho Takahashi on art design, adapting the manga by Eri Ejima. The twelve episode run began on 7 July 2026 and is set to close on 22 September, with Namori contributing the end card for episode four.
